Beatportal‘s report on the SIZE Recordings North American bus tour, featuring a stop at Chicago’s newest hot spot The Mid in early April…

From South Beach to the Sahara, Steve Angello is about to log some serious miles in his frequent-flyer account.

Ok, so it’s not actually the Sahara Desert—just the Sahara Tent at Coachella. Nonetheless, his coast-to-coast North American tour will be measuring the Size Matters credo in miles. And by the time they’re done picking up the trash at the Indio polo grounds, he’ll be off to another packed week of gigs on the other side of the Atlantic.

Starting March 26 at Miami’s much anticipated Masquerade Motel gig alongside Swedish House Mafia, Angello and his companions AN21, Max VangeliAlex MetricNorman Doray, and Third Party will be piling aboard the Size Matters tour bus for a string of dates including Orlando, Atlanta, DC, Montreal, Toronto, Columbus, Detroit, Minneapolis, Chicago, Seattle, Portland, San Francisco, and Indio’s Coachella fest. After that, the crew hits Moscow, Liege, Manchester, Birmingham, Amsterdam, Rome, and Dublin.

Wherever they touch down, you can expect to hear this spring’s big forthcoming releases from Size Records, including Koen Groeneveld’s “Slides,” Tom Flynn’s “Bianca,” Tim Mason’s “The Moment,” and Carl Lewis & Martin Danielle’s “Little.” Still fresh are Kim Fai’s “Era” and, on Positiva, Angello and Alex Metric’s massive “Open Your Eyes.” And this week sees the release of the next chapter in the Size saga, Black Raw’s “Eargasm.”
