A whopping 3500 mixes and 330,000 votes were submitted during the qualifying round of Next Generation DJ (NGDJ), the world’s biggest ever DJ talent search.
The mixes have been whittled down to just 100 finalists, who will now be judged by a team of industry experts and top DJs including Sebastian Ingrosso, DJ Magazine’s Editor in Chief Ben Murphy, Mark Grotefeld, Pioneer DJ’s Head of Marketing, and Beatport’s CEO Jonas Tempel.
“I always keep my ears to the ground for new talent, for both inspiration for my DJing and producing, but also as a label owner.
“There were loads of great mixes and ideas in the first stage of NGDJ, so I’m psyched to see what will happen in the finals,” said Sebastian Ingrosso.
